HSSC exams begin amid tight security.

RAWALPINDI -- Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) annual exams 2022 began in Rawalpindi Division on Saturday.

After paper leak scandal in Secondary School Certificate annual examination 2022, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Rawalpindi has made a comprehensive plan to avoid repeat of the lapses.

Rawalpindi board controller examination Prof Nasir Mehmood Awan told Dawn that more than 133,000 students had been enrolled in the exams and as many as 173 examination centers had been established including 76 in Rawalpindi, 22 in Attock, 31 in Chakwal, 21 in Jhelum, and 23 combined examination centres.

He said there were 33 sensitive centres in Rawalpindi division including six male centres in Rawalpindi city, nine in Rawalpindi rural areas, four in Jhelum, nine in Chakwal and five in Attock.

He said the roll number slips have already been dispatched to the students by the board.

The roll number slips of private candidates have been sent to the students at their mentioned addresses while slips of regular candidates uploaded on the portals of their related institutions.
