HIV cases in Pakistan rise by 74%.

KARACHI -- HIV cases in Pakistan have increased by 74% increase, according to the latest progress report of a global coalition formed to prevent the spread of the virus. Launched in 2017, the Global HIV Prevention Coalition aims to bring fresh momentum and clarity to HIV prevention programmes in 28 focus countries with the greatest burden of new HIV infections. Though a surge in HIV cases has been witnessed in Pakistan, new infections have declined in 26 other focus countries.
