History will never forgive those who polluted society with corruption: CM.

LAHORE -- Calling the corrupt elements as transgressors of the nation, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar Thursday said that corruption was a lingering tragedy inflicting the country since long. In a statement, the Chief Minister regretted that corruption polluted the national politics as resources were plundered mercilessly. 'It is cruel to treat politics as a means of earning because the whole society is devastated due to the bad effects of corruption', he remarked.

Usman Buzdar asserted that Pakistan would have been a developed country, if corruption had not been the hallmark of the political elite. He maintained that history will never forgive those who had polluted the society with the cancer of corruption.

Assigns task of cleaning Lahore to Aslam Iqbal

Taking notice of presence of garbage in parts of the city, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar Thursday directed the authorities concerned to take immediate steps for removal of the solid waste. The Chief Minister also got a briefing from Provincial Minister for Industries and Trade Mian Aslam on the cleanliness situation in the city. The Minister apprised him about the ongoing cleanliness drive. CEO LWMC Imran Ali was also present.

The Chief Minister directed to take immediate steps to remove the garbage. 'You are assigned the task of cleaning Lahore as you are a hardworking and talented Minister', he told the Minister and directed that dysfunctional machinery should be rectified and brought to roads for cleaning purposes.
