Herbarium opens at Mardan varsity.

PESHAWAR -- Director of Intermountain Herbarium at Utah State University, USA, Prof Mary E Barkworth on Monday inaugurated a herbarium at Women University of Mardan.

Expressing her views about Pakistan and its culture on the occasion, she said: 'I have seen and collected many plants that can only be found in this climate,' according to a statement issued here. She also explained the medicinal value of many local plants and promised to put her contribution in the development of herbarium.
