Halt to supply of substandard drugs ordered.

QUETTA -- The BaloAchistan health authorities has ordered the chief drug inspector to ensure a halt to supply of three medicines found unfit for use by patients after a laboratory test to government hospitals in the province.

A statement issued by the health department here on Sunday said that according to a fact finding report of the Balochistan Drug Testing Authority, the medicines Alive, Acro ox and Solpadine were found to be substandard.

The medical store department was also ordered to stop supply of these medicines to government hospitals and collect the already supplied medicines. 'These medicines will be destroyed...
