Haleem flays govt for arresting Fawad Chaudhry.

KARACHI -- Sindh Assembly Opposition leader Haleem Adil Sheikh said on Wednesday that the arrest of Fawad Chaudhry in the Election Commission contempt is surprising.

The Election Commission is playing a role for the destruction of democracy and the constitution, he said in a statement.

The opposition leader further said that the Election Commission had openly violated the orders of the Supreme Court and that the arrest of Fawad Chaudhry in the dark of night was illegal.

Fawad is a brave soldier of Imran Khan and the entire Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf stands with him, he added.

Haleem said that the imported government was now out and had started taking actions after the bankruptcy of the country, adding those people wanted to start a civil war in the country.
