Gymkhana Club hosts dinner to Irish women cricket team.

LAHORE -- The Gymkhana Cricket Club hosted a dinner to the visiting Irish women cricket at the pool-side of the historic Gymkhana Club on late Tuesday night.

Chairman Gymkhana Club Mian Misbah-ur-Rehman welcomed the guests to the iconic club and briefed the guests on the historicity of the club.

The guests were overawed to know the fact that the Lahore Gymkhana Cricket Ground was established way back in 1880 while international cricket began in the year 1922. They were informed that Gymkhana C.C is country's most picturesque cricket ground.

About the Gymkhana Club, he said it is a place of excellence, nestled in the heart of the city, and attracts elite of the society including leaders of the corporate world, the literati, renowned journalists, celebrated artists, members of the judiciary, agriculturists, diplomats and government functionaries.
