Gwadar Port to become operational next month: Dr. Firdous.

LAHORE -- Prime Minister's Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan says Pakistan's armed forces are fully prepared to defend homeland's frontier.

Addressing a news conference in Lahore on Monday, she strongly condemned false propaganda of Indian media. She said that whole nation is united on issue of its defence.

Firdous Ashiq Awan said Gwadar Port will become operational next month. She said that shipment business will strengthen economy in the region.

She said that there is poverty, ignorance and poor governance everywhere in Sindh while PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is doing negative politics by becoming a second string party to Maulana Fazlur Rehman's JUI-F for his planned agitation.
