Gunmen end rickshaw driver's long journey to home.

BAHAWALPUR -- Three gunmen allegedly shot dead a man who drove rickshaw from Karachi to reach his home late on Tuesday near village Madressah Tahirwali, 70kms from Bahawalpur.

According to the police, Muhammad Sadiq drove the rickshaw from Karachi due to lockdown conditions there. When he entered the limits of his home police station Dhoorekote near Uch Sharif, the three-wheeler broke down in the dead of night. He called his brother.

Meanwhile, the gunmen appeared at the scene and killed him.

The Channigoth police registered a murder case against unidentified people and shifted the body to the Channigoth Basic Health Unit for postmortem examination.

POLICE: The Uch Sharif police arrested three people for allegedly sexually assaulting a transgender in Uch Gilani.

According to the police, the transperson had a monetary dispute with two persons. He went to meet them for settlement.
