Grandmother, three children die in house fire.

LAHORE -- An elderly woman and her three minor grandchildren were killed on Thursday as a fire erupted in their Wahdat Colony house.

Rescue 1122 extinguished the fire and shifted the six injured to nearby hospital where four of them, including three children, were declared dead.

The incident took place in a three-marla single storey house in Wahdat Colony. The fire erupted in an open kitchen attached to a living room and flames engulfed other rooms.

The children were present in a room adjacent to the living room. As the fire engulfed the living room, the children were trapped.
