Govt will not stop opposition to protest outside ECP: Sheikh Rashid.

LAHORE -- Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed says the government will not stop the opposition to protest outside the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday, if they abide by the law and Constitution.

Addressing a press conference in Lahore on Friday, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said the opposition can practice their constitutional right, but the law would take its course if they try to create unrest in Islamabad.

The Interior Minister said Prime Minister Imran Khan has formed a committee to hold talks with the opposition. He said the government is not afraid of the protests of the opposition parties but it is time to observe whether the opposition respects the law and Constitution or not.
