Govt urged to fill DEO's post in Lakki.

LAKKI MARWAT -- Local chapter of All Primary Schoolteachers Association has demanded of the provincial government to fill the post of the district education officer (male) immediately.

The demand was made during a meeting held in Tajazai here the other day with the association's president Abdul Rahim in the chair.

They expressed concern over delaying filling the vacant position of DEO (male) for the last one month, which had been affecting the office work.

Mr Rahim said that the pension, GP fund and other important cases of teachers and other employees were pending for approval as at present the district education department was without a boss. He feared that in the present situation teachers' recruitment in the district could be delayed.

The association leader demanded of the government to fill the vacant post of the district education officer without any delay.
