Govt to release evidence of corruption by Shehbaz, Maryam.

ISLAMABAD -- Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday instructed authorities to publicise evidence of corruption gathered against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif and Vice President Maryam Nawaz.

In a meeting chaired by the premier, officials confirmed that the government would continue their 'aggressive' policy towards corrupt individuals.

During the meeting, sources said new developments in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case were brought to light and the decision was made to disclose the information to the public.

The prime minister said it is important for organisations to identify white-collar crimes, adding that the government will not compromise on any corruption scandals and will ensure a fair accountability process for all.

'The nation should know the consequences for those responsible for destroying the economy,' he said.
