Govt to bring legislation allowing immediate action against sedition, inciting revolt.
ISLAMABAD -- The government has decided to take immediate action against elements guilty of sedition or inciting rebellion against the state.
According to sources, the federal cabinet has approved necessary legal amendments on an emergency basis following the decision.
Sources say that the amendments have been approved by the federal cabinet through circulation and the power to register a case against sedition or incitement to revolt has been assigned to the Home Secretary.
