Govt to analyse detailed verdict on Musharraf verdict before commenting: Firdous Ashiq Awan.

ISLAMABAD -- Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting, Firdous Ashiq Awan, on Tuesday said that the government will consult its legal team before commenting on a special court's decision to hand the death sentence to General (retired) Pervez Musharraf in a high treason case.

A three-member bench of the special court, comprising of Justice Waqar Ahmad Seth of the Peshawar High Court, Justice Nazar Akbar of the Sindh High Court and Justice Shahid Karim of the Lahore High Court, had earlier today found Musharraf guilty of high treason.
