Govt taking long- term measures to meet power needs: Ali Zain.

MULTAN -- Deputy Managing Director National Power Control Center (NPCC) Islamabad, Ali Zain, said that the government was taking long-term measures to meet the electricity needs of the country.

National Transmission and Dispatch Company Limited (NTDC) was working on the projects to remove the defects in the transmission and grid stations system and the consumers across the country including South Punjab would get power supply with better voltages after completion of it.

He expressed these views while addressing a high-level meeting held at MEPCO headquarters here on Thursday.

He said that the Ministry of Power officials were continuously monitoring the production and supply of electricity in the country.

He ordered NTDC and MEPCO teams to work together to remove faults in the transmission and grid systems.
