Govt sensing defeat in Senate polls: JUI-F.

NOWSHERA -- Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl provincial chief Senator Maulana Attaur Rehman said here on Sunday that government was sensing its defeat in the upcoming Senate elections.

Talking to party workers, he said that the success of Pakistan Democratic Movement candidates in the by-polls affected the nervous system of the leaders of the ruling party.

MPA-elect Ikhtiar Wali Khan of PML-N, JUI-F district emir Qari Mohammad Aslam, Mufti Hakim Ali, Qari Riazullah and others were also present on the occasion.

Maulana Attaur Rehman said that government was trying to flee from Senate elections through show of hands instead of secret ballot and other tactics.
