LAHORE -- Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Senator Sirajul Haq has said the government's helplessness is visible on the decision of the special court against the former military ruler.

Addressing a gathering at JI Headquarters Mansoora on Friday, he said those who made repeated claims in the past to ensure Parvez Musharraf accountability before the law were now seemed making all efforts to save the skin of the dictator.

'The prime minister made another U-turn and badly exposed himself even before the majority of his voters and supporters.' The JI Emir said the prime minister and the chief justice made frequent admission that there was no justice for a common man in Pakistan, showing concern the situation was turning worst with every day passing. The masses, he said, were seeking explanation from the claimant of making 'Not two but one Pakistan' over the duality of system. The law in Pakistan, he said, was strong when it came to the matter of poor's accountability but rich and powerful never bothered about it. Similarly, he said, there was a dual education and health systems for downtrodden and affluent. He said a president could be impeached and held accountable for his conduct in America but a person like Rao Anwar could not be asked for his crimes in Pakistan.
