Govt prepares recommendations for cattle markets.

LAHORE -- The Punjab government has prepared recommendations for setting up cattle markets outside the cities for the convenience of citizens on the occasion of Eid.

The proposed recommendations will be sent to the federal government for approval.

The recommendations were discussed and finalized in a cabinet sub-committee meeting chaired by law minister Basharat Raja and attended by livestock minister Hasnain Dareshk, additional chief secretary, additional IG Police, local government and community development department secretary, livestock secretary, while divisional commissioners attended via video-link on Saturday.
