Govt plans to give subsidised seeds, fertilizers to flood-hit farmers.

KARACHI -- The federal government has made a plan of giving a subsidy on the seeds and fertilizers to the farmers of flood-hit areas across the country.

According to a report on Thursday, the government will provide subsidized assistance on a cost-sharing basis with the provinces for the upcoming rabi season.

The proposed subsidy on seeds and fertilizers might be presented to the federal cabinet soon.
