Govt committed to invest in drug regulation considering it as a national obligation: Zafar Mirza.

ISLAMABAD -- Special Assistant on National Health Services Dr. Zafar Mirza says the government is committed to invest in drug regulation considering it as a national obligation.

He expressed these view at the groundbreaking ceremony of new building of Drug Regulatory Authority Pakistan in Islamabad on Thursday.

He said the DRAP will be turned into an authority on which people will have trust and that will safeguard their interests in terms of quality, efficacy and prices of medicines.

The Special Assistant said an efficient and proactive drug regulatory authority is of vital importance for development of pharmaceutical industry.
