Govt allies assure support in testing time to ruling party in Parliament.

ISLAMABAD -- As the joint Opposition is all set to create hindrance in proceedings of the National Assembly, the government allied partners assure their full support in disposing of pending legislative business. The senior members of the ruling party [PTI] had contacted heads of its coalition partners to seek their support in and outside Parliament against ongoing anti-government campaign, says Parliamentary sources.

The joint opposition have openly threatened an anti-government long march and disruption during the proceedings of the National Assembly. The government side, in reaction to the opposition's expected plans, has taken its coalition partners into confidence about its planning to counter opposition's move in the Parliament.

Background discussions with lawmakers from Treasury benches revealed that government members had contacted the allied partners including Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM-P) and Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) and chalked out joint strategy against the anti-government intentions of the joint opposition.
