KARACHI -- Sindh Governor Imran Ismail has directed the federal government bodies in the province to take prompt and pragmatic decisions on the public complaints re-ceived through Pakistan Citizen Portal (PCP).

Presiding over a meeting to review the performance of federal government insti-tutions about PCP, the governor urged the attendees to ensure submission of a comprehensive report regarding redressal of public complaints and service deliv-ery within the stipulated time for onward transmission to PM.

The governor asked the heads of the departments to appoint focal person imme-diately to work in coordination with the Governor House in order to ensure early disposal of the complaints and submission of quarterly report to PM.

He emphasised on the federal government institutions to provide merit and transparency based services to the citizens and there should be a practical and ef-fective mechanism in this regard. 'The federal government institutions should have to strengthen the service delivery system and remove the loophole in re-dressal of the public complaints' he added.

Ismail asked the officers to contact him directly in case of any hurdle in resolution of public complaints. The meeting was attended by heads of all federal govern-ment institutions in the province.

It was informed to the meeting that 3,123,148 people had registered themselves with PCP and so far, 3,001,737 complaints had been lodged.
