Government should take chambers of commerce on board : FPCCI.

Karachi -- The President of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Engr. Daroo Khan Achakzai has said that government functionaries should engage trade bodies in consultation in the policy making process .

He was talking to a delegation of 45 Trade and Investment Officers to be posted abroad who visited FPCCI for an orientation tour and interactive session with the businessmen and to get the knowledge of activities of FPCCI and its role in the economic development of Pakistan particularly in the promotion of trade, industry and investment.

President FPCCI gave briefing on the activities of FPCCI at national and international level. He emphasized on the need of frequent interaction with the trade bodies which may help in removing the bottlenecks in improving the trade and investment climate, so as to establish joint ventures in mutually beneficial areas.
