GOP and IsDB re-affirm commitment to support the Polio Eradication Program.
ISLAMABAD -- Muhammad Hammad Azhar, Minister for Economic Affairs, while addressing the Launch event of Support to Pakistan Polio Eradication Program (2019-2021), on Wednesday said "Today we are celebrating the longstanding partnership with the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB). Over the years we have come to count on IsDB to keep up against the fight for a Polio-free Pakistan. The Minister also thanked the partners of the Lives and Livelihood Fund (LLF) for provision of USD 10 million Grant in addition to IsDB loan of USD 90 million, says a statement issued here on Wednesday. The LLF was launched by the IsDB in September 2016 to offer blended (Loan and Grant) financing resources to the member countries for development projects in the Agriculture, Education and Health Sectors.
