Pakistan emerging talent and Lahore Qalandar's pace bowler Haris Rauf has excited his captain, Glenn Maxwell of his Big Bash League side, Melbourne Stars by his astonishing performance in the debut match of the tournament.

Haris impressed by claiming a wicket om his very first bowl by dismissing Max Bryant of Brisbane Heat. He also dismissed tailender Mitchell Swepson on the last ball of the innings as Stars successfully defended the 168-run target and won their first match of the season.
