Girl killed, several children injured as wall collapses in Lower Dir.

LOWER DIR -- A wall of a Lower Dir school caved in on Monday burying several children under its debris while the rescuers pulled out dead body of a girl.

According to police, the wall of a under construction building of the Government Primary School, Dapur collapsed and several students were buried under it.

After getting information of the incident, the rescue teams rushed to the venue and started pulling out children trapped under the fallen wall. They also retrieved body of a girl student who died in the incident.

The administration imposed an emergency in the Lal Qila Hospital whereas the rescue efforts were going on. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan took serious notice of the incident and ordered Malakand commissioner to immediately send him the investigation report of the wall collapse.
