Girl dies as Torghar house torched over dispute.

MANSEHRA -- A girl died of critical burns as her father's rival torched her house over a monitory dispute in Bartoni area of Torghar district on Monday.

The police said Mohammad Ramiz set Sherzada's house on fire causing serious burns to the latter's daughter, Naima, 10, and her mother, who were trapped inside their rooms.

They said the neighbours entered the premises by scaling walls and pulled the two out.

However, Naima didn't survive, while her mother was shifted to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

The police said Sherzada had earlier fired gunshots on his rivals, Mohammad Ramiz and Sher Bahdar, killing them instantly.

They said Mohammad Ramiz had borrowed Rs150, 000 from Sherzada and refused to return it.

The police said they had arrested two accused, while the main culprits from both sides were at large.

Meanwhile, a woman driver, who was booked for trying to hit police officials at the Hazara Expressway with her car last week, has claimed to have a video footage of her being insulted by the police.

Sakina Jaffar made the claim during an appearance before an investigation team led by additional SHO Gul Nawaz Khan.

She showed up to record a statement about the incident.
