Germany stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Chemicals, Consumer and Cyclical and Retail sectors led shares higher. At the close in Frankfurt, the DAX gained 0.54 percent to hit a new 1-month high, while the MDAX index added 0.55 percent, and the TecDAX index added 0.56percent.
