GCU VC given additional charge of PU.

LAHORE -- Prof Dr Asghar Zaidi, vice-chancellor (VC) of the Government College University, has been assigned the additional charge of the Punjab University VC till a regular incumbent is appointed.

The Punjab Higher Education Department said that the governor, as chancellor, assigned Prof Dr Zaidi additional charge of the post of VC at the University of Punjab for three months or until the appointment of a regular incumbent.

Prof Dr Zaidi assumed the charge.
