GCU online classes from June 1.

LAHORE -- The Government College University (GCU) on Tuesday completed its Learning Management System (LMS) and announced that it would start online classes from June 1.

Earlier, the GCU had cancelled its online classes and constituted a panel for Digital Learning Environment and embarked upon a four-dimension strategy comprising teachers' training, preparation of approved online-ready courses, adoption of the Learning Management System (LMS) and procedures for online classes and providing time, support and guidance to students for readiness for online classes.

The GCU has established its LMS where lectures, assignments, grades and students attendance would be uploaded and under the policy students would also have to submit and upload their assignments online in this system.

The teachers would also have to remain online and connected three hours per day to give answers to the students and they would also have to record lectures and upload it on LMS according to their duty schedule.
