GCC-approved medical centers involved in looting overseas workers: POEPA.

Islamabad -- Pakistan Overseas Employment Promoters Association (POEPA) has claimed that the GCC-approved medical centers are involved in looting poor overseas workers in the name of tests.

Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, POEPA officials said that a Gulf-cooperation council, Approved Medical centers Association (GAMCA), is administratively managing 45 medical centers in Pakistan who are departing workers to Saudi Arabia. They have made compulsory for Pakistani workers to conduct the medical test from its approved centers before going to Saudi Arabia.
