Free seed distribution has hit snags: Wassan.

HYDERABAD -- Adviser to Sindh chief minister on agriculture Manzoor Wassan has said that the government will provide Rs5,000 per acre subsidy to flood-hit farmers to help them meet cost of production.

He said at a programme on post-flood situation in Sindh Agriculture University (SAU) Tandojam, on Friday that the government plans to distribute free wheat seed had hit snags for some reasons and farmers had started cultivating wheat on their own.
