'Free parking lots to address traffic mess'.

HARIPUR -- The police have declared six open spaces in Haripur city as free car parking areas for visitors.

DPO Syed Ashfaq Anwar told reporters here on Tuesday that the initiative was meant to address the issues of traffic congestion.

He said traffic mess was common in the main bazaar and link roads due to unplanned parking of vehicles and motorcycles and a lack of proper parking spaces.

The DPO said he took traders on board and after removal of encroachments from the main bazaar, Mochi Bazaar, Loharan Bazaar, Saeyn Sehaili Road and Rehmania Road, he declared six open spaces as...
