Four killed as jeep falls in Neelum River.

MUZAFFARABAD -- Four people were killed and 14 others were injured after a jeep fell into Neelum River in the remote Gurez sub-valley of Neelum district on Saturday evening, police confirmed on Sunday.

The jeep was bringing men, women and children from Marnath village to a wedding ceremony in Jandar Seri village when it fell into the icy river, a little before its destination at about 7:20pm, reportedly due to negligence of the driver, a police official in Kel told Dawn.

Kel is located some 156 kilometres northeast of Muzaffarabad and Gurez sub valley begins beyond it and ends at Taobutt, the last village of Neelum district.
