Four cup races at LRC today.

LAHORE -- A competitive card of seven events, featuring four cup races, marks the 29th Lahore Winter Meeting which gets under way at the Racecourse here on Sunday.

Two cup races have been named after the Lahore Race Club's late stewards and owners - Munir Ahmad Dar and Mir Ikram Mahmood - to recognise their services for equine sports.

The Munir Ahmad Dar Memorial Cup, a handicap race for class VII to be contested over 1300 metres, has eight runners of whom four look to be the real contenders namely Big Beat, Bella Verde, Elektra and Re Birth.

Mir Ikram Mahmood MemoArial Cup, a handicap race for class VI division III and IV to be gone over 1300 metres, has nine runners and looks a battle between a quartet of contenders namely Khokhar One, Sundri, Fast And Furious and Farhan King.
