Four cops held for 'causing death' of biker.

TOBA TEK SINGH -- Arrouti police on Saturday arrested four constables of the Punjab Highways Patrol for allegedly causing the death of a citizen.

According to a police official, farmer Muhammad Azhar riding a bike was on his way back from Kamalia sugar mills. Near Arrouti Bypass Road Chowk, four PHP personnel suddenly signalled him to stop. The biker could not reduce the speed and the policemen caught him by his shawl as a result he fell down and later succumbed to his injuries.

On the orders of DPO Rana Umer Farooq, police have arrested constables Muhammad Ashfaq, Ziaur Rehman, Muhammad Usman and Iqbal Hussain.
