Former PM may have been embarrassed on my becoming PM but people embarrassment has come to end: PM.

ISLAMABAD -- Prime Minister (PM) Shahbaz Sharif has said the former Prime Minister (PM) may have been be embarrassed on my becoming the PM but the embarrassment of people has come to end.

' If the former PM gets unnerved then let him be worried. But I will continue to work at the pace to which I am accustomed to', he said this while addressing inauguration ceremony of Orange Line Metro Bus Service from Peshawar Morr to New Islamabad International Airport Monday.

He held that metro bus project will be extended upto Rawat. No ticket will be charged to those travelling in this bus service during the holy month of Ramadan. At least 50000 citizens will benefit from this bus service.

'We are grateful to China and Turkey regarding this project. This project remained suspended for the last four years. Its estimate was 16 billion rupees. This gift was given by Nawaz Sharif to the inmates of Islamabad in 2017. This project was to become operational in 2018 but unfortunately this project and several other projects like this was delayed due to change of government.

He also asked the Chinese side to reconsider Karachi Circular Railway project as this will bring great dividends for the people of Karachi. He said China is a great friend which has always stood by Pakistan and contributed immensely to building Pakistan's economy. He said the CPEC is a game changer project.
