Forest Dept, LUMS signs agreement for improving environment.

LAHORE -- A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the Forest Department and Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) about bringing about improvement in environment with the help of digital techniques in the province.

Secretary Forests Shahid Zaman, dean of the university and head of departments, were also present.

According to the agreement, LUMS would provide its support to the Forest Department in management of forest assets. The knowledge management map of the province's forests would be created, while both institutions would cooperate with each other to carry out the research on relevant...
