Fog-related accidents claim four lives.

TOBA TEK SINGH -- Four people were killed in road accidents due to thick fog on roads in different accidents on Tuesday.

A woman was killed after being struck by a motorcycle close to the Abdullahpur overhead bridge.

Nasreen Aslam, of the Nishatabad neighbourhood, was struck by the motorcycle due to poor visibility in the dense fog, according to Rescue 1122.

Another fog-related incident at Chak Jhumra resulted in the death of one man and the injury of another when a van hit a motorbike-rickshaw. While Akash Shahid was shifted to the Allied Hospital, Liaqat Hussain died at the scene.

In addition, two passengers were killed and four others injured in a collision between a trailer and a van on Jhang-Khanewal Road while there was strong fog.

Muhammad Umer and Syed Mahboob were named as the deceased.
