Fistula Surgical Camp organized at Koohi Goth Women Hospital.

KARACHI -- A fistula surgical camp was organised in collaboration with UNFPA and Ministry of Health, Government of Pakistan at Koohi Goth Women Hospital Karachi from 14 to 19 October 2019. More than 92 patients with genital tract fistula and serious pelvic abnormalities from all provinces of Pakistan, Kashmir and Gilgit Biltistan including Afghan refugee women admitted to Koohi Goth Women Hospital. Dr Aziz Abdullah, Dr Pushpa Srichand, Dr Nasira, Dr Tahir Sheikh, Dr Nuzhat Farooqi, Dr Narejan Kumar and Dr Shershah Syed performed surgeries in the camp. More than 40 doctors from different cities of Pakistan attended this surgical camp. Vesico Vaginal Fistula (VVF) and Recto Vaginal Fistula (RVF) is a condition when pregnant women get injury during childbirth.
