Firing at Lakki funeral leaves one dead, two injured.

LAKKI MARWAT -- A man was killed and two others were injured in a firing incident at a funeral prayer in Takhtikhel village of Lakki Marwat district on Saturday.

Police said that enmity between the victims and attackers led to the shooting incident that took place in the limits of Shaheed Asmatullah Khan Khattak police station of Naurang town.

They said that the attackers opened fire on Umar Nawaz, killing him on the spot. 'Two other villagers were wounded in the attack,' they added.

Complaint Hamza Ali Khan, brother of the deceased, told police in his preliminary report that he, his brother and other villagers had gone to the graveyard to attend the funeral prayer of the mother of Jannat Khan Bazikhel.
