Firdous seeks media help in highlighting Govt achievements in 2020.

ISLAMABAD -- Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan Wednesday said that 2020 would be the year of providing relief to the general public after economic revival of the country.

Addressing APP Award Distribution Ceremony here, the special assistant said that 2020 should be the year of fulfilment of promises made in the manifesto of PTI and sought media role in highlighting the achievements made by the present government.

Dr Firdous said that restructuring process in Associated Press of Pakistan had been initiated to make it a modern and self-reliant institution. She expressed the hope that after the restructuring, APP would emerge as a leading news agency of the world.
