Festival for promotion of ghazal held at RAC.
RAWALPINDI -- A festival was organised in Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC) for the promotion of ghazal singing.
Special guests at the festival were Naheed Manzoor and director of the arts council Waqar Ahmed. Imran Rushdie, Ishaq Qureshi, Samina Khan, Sajjad Akmal, Ali Shaukat Khan and Noman Mirza performed ghazals in their beautiful voices at the festival.
Performers paid tributes to maestros including Mehdi Hassan, Ustad Salamat Ali Khan and Ustad Amanat Ali Khan.
