Female teacher held for slitting boy's throat in Swat.

SWAT -- The police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested a female madrassah teacher for allegedly slitting the throat of a three-year-old boy on Feb 24.

Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, SP investigations Mohammad Nazir Khan said the incident occurred in a madrassah in Sethi Mills Mohallah area of Amankot, near Mingora.

'Three-year-old Mohammad Ihsan was found critically injured inside the madrassah, who had gone there along with his sister,' he said, adding father of the injured, Amjad Ali, had filed a report in the police station concerned.

He said to trace the culprit behind the incident a special investigation team was formed under him.
