Federal Ombudsman resolves 110,000 complaints in 2021: Ijaz Qureshi.

ABBOTTABAD -- Federal Ombudsman Ijaz Ahmad Qureshi Thursday said that during last year as many as 110,000 complaints had been resolved relating to government departments

Addressing a Khuli Kutchery here at Jalal Baba Auditorium, Abbottabad, the federal ombudsman said that considering the increase in complaints the capacity of the institution has been improved to 140,000 annually.

While speaking on the occasion the federal ombudsman said that we have established 14 centers across the country to receive complaints related to 180 government departments of the federation, where 60 advisers, retired from high positions of grade 20/21, receive complaints on simple application and sit the concerned department in front of the petitioner.

He said that advisors are responsible for the redressal of the complaints and disclosed that most of the complaints received by the organization were related to Wapda, NADRA, Passport, Ehsaas Program, State Life, Postal Life, Sui Gas, GPO, Utility Store, Pakistan Railways, NHA and various other departments.

Qureshi said that the complaints received within a period of two months have been solved and the people have been provided with an easy solutions.
