Fed govt, clerics sit together to devise SOPs ahead of Eid ul Adha.

ISLAMABAD -- During the meeting on preparation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Eid-ul-Adha, Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Noor-ul-Haq said that consultations with Ulema would be continued and a unanimous national strategy would be worked out.

According to details, a consultative meeting was held with Ulemas and Mashaikhs in the Ministry of Religious Affairs to prepare SOPs for safe Eid-ul-Adha from Coronavirus epidemic.

The meeting was chaired By: Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Pir Noor-ul-Haq Qadri and was attended By: Federal Minister for Home Affairs Syed Ijaz Shah, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Health Dr. Zafar Mirza, Aftab Jahangir, Parliamentary Secretary and provincial government representatives from all provinces .

The meeting discussed in detail the strategy for securing cattle markets and Eid-ul-Adha gatherings in view of the rising mortality and deteriorating health situation across the country due to the Coronavirus epidemic.

In the meeting, the Federal Minister for Home Affairs and representatives from all over the country presented their proposals.
