FCCI inks MoU with Oman Air.

FAISALABAD -- Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Oman Air at a ceremony held here on Wednesday.

Addressing on the occasion, FCCI President Engineer Hafiz Ihtesham Javed said that Faisalabad was one of the fastest growing cities in terms of air industry and according to conservative estimates, the number of air passengers will jump from 5 to 8 lakh per annum as soon as the coronavirus pandemic ends.

He said that a large number of airlines were already successfully operating from Faisalabad which

were getting maximum passenger load for their Faisalabad bound flights. He said that Oman Air should now start direct flights from Faisalabad to get a sizable share of the passengers. He said that Oman Air was comparatively better quality and relatively cheaper airline which could provide links with other important destinations of commercial importance.
