'Fawad is a good player, will use him whenever needed' says Azhar Ali.

Pakistan Test team captain Azhar Ali called Fawad Alam a good player but hinted towards his ouster from the playing XI for the second Test against Sri Lanka, starting from December 19 at National Stadium Karachi (NSK).

Azhar, in a presser, when asked about Fawad's inclusion in playing XI following his recent form at NSK, the captain said that he is a good player and part of their plan.

'Fawad is a good player. He is in-form and has scored plenty of runs at the domestic level. He is definitely a part of our plan and we will use him whenever needed,' he said.

The skipper added that the team is finalized and will be revealed tomorrow. Due to Usman Shinwari suffering from Typhoid and under treatment at a local hospital in Karachi, leg-spinner Yasir Shah is most likely to be a part of playing XI.

'We have planned things accordingly. The final XI is finalized and will be revealed tomorrow,' he said.
