Fast and Furious 9 Release Delayed Due To Coronavirus!

The most anticipated Hollywood film of 2020 'Fast and Furious 9' release has been delayed by full-year amidst the ongoing coronavirus fear. F9 was due out in May this year, but will now not reach cinemas until April 2021.

'We are moving the global release date to April 2021. While we know there is disappointment in having to wait a little while longer, this move is made with the safety of everyone. We will see you next spring,' a statement said on Twitter.As the world responds to the disease's global outbreak, the entertainment industry at large has already been affected. Events such as SXSW, E3, CinemaCon, and ACE Comic Con have already been cancelled over concerns about the disease.

The epic first trailer for F9 arrived on January 31 and delivered a couple of huge reveals for fans. It is the ninth instalment in the franchise. The movie will star Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Charlize Theron and John Cena. It will also bring back Sung Kang [Han] in an upcoming film.

'Fast and Furious' sequels tend to be among the year's highest-grossing movies and the release date shift leaves Memorial Day weekend without one of its star attractions.
